How I prepare for a test

December 15, 2007

1) Find something to distract me, preferably something you have to WATCH, not just listen to in the background.

ie Canada’s Next Top Model

2) Worry myself into a tizzy.

3) Take my Lexapro.

4) Pull it together around midnight the night before, and cram until dawn.

I’m not sure if this is going to work on the entirety of IM and Cardiology. Umm, hopefully I already know some of this from say…the 2 years of med school and 2 months of IM. One would hope the $35000 I spend per year for tuition did something for me.

I suppose we’ll see. Ok, back to work.

That is exactly how I prepare for tests – but with Paxil instead of Lexapro. And with America’s Next Top Model or whatever reality crap is on MTV or VH1. Glad to see that someone else has the same studying philosophy!
